Insurance companies would ask a higher premium from people with predisposition to certain diseases. And I am sure that each one of us has potential disease causing SNP's in our genes which have not manifested yet. Personally I wouldnt want to sequence my genome and show it others. To your point about many in the various ivory-ish towers and their mostly dissenting opinions, I think they will be surprised to see increasingly progressive and more rapid changes that will move towards implementation of PM utilizing PGP/PGI.
